Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the Toubkal trek?
The MRIRIDA Travel Toubkal adventure lasts 3 days and 2 nights, combining mountain hiking, Berber village discovery, camping, and the ascent of Mount Toubkal.
What is the highest point reached during the trek?
The summit of Jbel Toubkal is 4,167 metres (13,671 ft) above sea level, making it the highest summit in Morocco and North Africa.
Is this trek suitable for beginners?
The trek requires a good level of physical fitness. The summit day involves a demanding mountain ascent, so participants should be comfortable with several hours of hiking and steep terrain.
What time does the summit ascent start?
The summit day starts at approximately 5:00 a.m., before sunrise. A functional headlamp is mandatory for every participant.
How long does the ascent to the summit take?
The ascent from the camp to the summit generally takes 4 to 5 hours, depending on the group's pace and weather conditions.
Where will we sleep?
The first night is spent in a comfortable guesthouse, while the second night is spent camping in tents under the stars.
Do I need to bring my own sleeping bag?
Yes. A personal sleeping bag is mandatory. Each participant must bring a sleeping bag suitable for mountain nighttime temperatures. The sleeping bag is not included in the tour price.
